Watering

Feeding
- Apply an ericaceous (acid-loving) fertilizer in early spring to support healthy growth and encourage flowering.
- Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can reduce the plant’s hardiness.
Pruning
- Lightly trim the plant after flowering in late spring to maintain a neat shape and encourage new growth.
- Remove any dead or damaged branches to keep the plant looking tidy and healthy.
Mulching
- Add a layer of organic mulch, such as pine bark or compost, around the base in spring.
- Mulching helps retain moisture, suppress weeds, and maintain soil acidity.
Pest and Disease Control
- Erica darleyensis Mixed is generally pest and disease-free, but occasional issues like aphids or fungal infections may arise.
